Since 2002 our focus has been to improve processes within the foundries. During these years we have gathered both knowledge and experience within a wide range of areas that we share with the foundry industry.
Our know-how is not only built into our systems but is also “packaged” in projects aimed to highlight wasteful activities and to find optimized ways to help maximize the efficiency of the foundry.
The scope of these projects can be tailored to the needs of the foundry but have one thing in common: they are all designed to target some of the most common difficulties that foundries struggle with.
Our resources in these projects are divided into strong local presence by our partners and International experts.
We have 7 metallurgical engineers and 4 IT engineers in house at our disposal, combined with own developed state of the art metallurgical tool, ITACA™ and a metallurgical laboratory. The laboratory has direct 威尼斯 with foundries, exchanging ideas in the field with customers, studying their production processes, and offers much 威尼斯 than mere laboratory tests. Over time, this way of working has proven to be very successful, enabling us to become not only an accurate lab, but also a real point of reference for all issues linked to our customers’ processes and finished product quality.

The 1st of November 2012 it has officially been started FLEXICAST, a research project funded by the European Union under the Seventh Framework Program.
The acronym FLEXICAST means “Robust and Flexible Cast Iron Manufacturing” and ProService is one of the 13 partners.
POR FESR 2007-2013, Action 1.1.2
In December 2012 ProService started a research project in the metallurgical field that sees our company acting as supplier of a process control software and having, as partner, Zardo Foundry, which will deal with the production process and the data collection.
As external partner, the project sees the collaboration also of the Department of management and Engineering of the University of Padua, that will be in charge of finding the correlation among the production data.

The research program is funded by the Veneto Region, within the 2007-‐2013 Regional Operative Program, in relation to the regional competitiveness and employment objective, Call No. 2/2013 Action 5.1.1. – DGR 632/2013 Bando POR CRO parte FESR 2007-‐2013, “Funding industrial research and experimental development projects with an interregional scope”, and has the following title:
“On-‐line prediction of ductile iron mechanical properties using a shared software interface between ITACA and MAGMASOFT®”

The purpose of this project is to help the foundries understand the reason for metallurgical defects and to identify the source of them. In our Foundry Efficieny project we will analyse current procedures in the production of iron and to access if & how these are being used.
